Terms of Use

Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Ram Ravi ("we", "us") for your use of Sample Series (the "App") and this website. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

The App is licensed to you through the Apple App Store and is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"). If these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, these Terms apply to the extent allowed.

Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or distribute the App, except where the law allows this.

Subscriptions and free trial

• Full access to the App requires a Sample Series Pro subscription, available monthly or annually.
• New subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial. One free trial is available per Apple ID. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase or when the free trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals. Your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Prices are shown in the App in your local currency and may vary by country. We may change prices in the future. Apple will tell you about any price increase as required.

Refunds

All payments are processed by Apple. We cannot issue refunds directly. You can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Your content

You own the music, recordings, notes and other content you create or import ("Your Content"). We do not claim any rights to it, and it is stored on your device. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use any audio you import and to share any files you export, including samples and material owned by others. Please keep your own backups of important work.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to infringe anyone's copyright or other rights, to break the law, or to interfere with the App or its security.

Our intellectual property

The App, its design, code, effects, presets, chord content, graphics and the Sample Series name and logo belong to Ram Ravi and are protected by law. These Terms do not give you any rights to them other than the licence above.

Third-party services

The App uses services from Apple, such as the App Store, Apple Maps and system playback controls. It can also open links to services like Spotify, Apple Music and Instagram. These services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

Disclaimer

We work hard to make the App reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent allowed by law, we do not promise that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted or that it will never lose data. Nothing in these Terms affects rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or content, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

Apple terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any claims relating to the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Ending these Terms

You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it and cancelling your subscription. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously break these Terms. The sections on your content, intellectual property, disclaimers and liability continue to apply after these Terms end.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page and, if the changes are significant, let you know in the App. Continuing to use the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in your local courts.
